Modeliste:  On a scale of one to ten, how excited are you about life right now?

Olivia Culpo: On a scale of one to ten, I try to always be pretty excited about life. So right now, I am a ten!

Modeliste:  Can you tell us about any upcoming projects you currently have in the works?

Olivia Culpo: I have a few very exciting projects coming up including a few in the fashion space that I cannot say too much about yet. My film Reprisal with Bruce Willis and Frank Grillo is currently in theatres and I’m filming another movie this summer in Jamaica. ModelSquad is coming out on September 4th on E! and I am excited for fashion month to coincide with it.

Modeliste:  Life theme song at the moment?

Olivia Culpo: My life theme song at the moment would have to be anything Aretha Franklin, because I love her. She was the Queen.

Modeliste: How would you describe your personal style?

Olivia Culpo: I would describe my personal style as modern, classic, playing with current trends.

Modeliste: Daring?

Olivia Culpo: No, not really. As a true fashionista, I can’t say I’m totally daring, because some people really go all out. I will experiment though but my go to is simplicity.

Modeliste: What are you most excited for Fall fashion?

Olivia Culpo: For Fall fashion, I’m always so excited to add layers and textures. I love seeing a lot of plaid. Army green, navy, copper tones, everything with those really rich fall colors.

Modeliste: Favorite designer runway shows you’re most looking forward to seeing during fashion month?

Olivia Culpo: Ooh, during fashion month, there’s so many designers that I am so excited to see. I walked in Sally Lapointe and Zadig & Voltaire last year, that was so exciting. I am also headed to Milan and Paris and there are so many amazing designers that show there that I cannot even pick a few.

Modeliste: Signature scent?

Olivia Culpo: My signature scent is Chanel Chance. I wear it every day.

Modeliste: Current handbag?

Olivia Culpo: My current handbag is a vintage Chanel that I bought from Tradesy and my favorite Tod’s handbag that is classic.

Modeliste: Best beauty advice you’ve ever received?

Olivia Culpo: Best beauty advice that I’ve ever received is smile and be nice.

Modeliste: Holy grail, go to product?

Olivia Culpo: Holy grail, go to product would have to be coconut oil. I use it for so many different things. I also love witch hazel, any sort of astringent, but coconut oil I use to shave, hair mask, moisturizer, makeup remover, everything.

Modeliste: Favorite song?

Olivia Culpo: My favorite song is anything by SZA, Khalid, Aretha Franklin, and or Old Dominion.

      Modeliste:      If you could sing a duet with anyone, who would it be?

Olivia Culpo:     If I could sing a duet with anyone, it would absolutely hands down be Frank Sinatra. That voice is just unbelievable. It reminds me of my childhood, honestly.

Modeliste: Best gift you’ve ever received?

Olivia Culpo: The best gift that I ever received, this sounds absolutely insane, but I still have my baby blanket, and it’s so comfy, and it reminds me of my family, and my mom and dad, and it’s definitely the best gift I ever received.

Modeliste: What’s your favorite country to visit?

Olivia Culpo: I have so many countries that I have been to and absolutely love. I could never really pick just one, but in general I’ve loved visiting Dubai, India, anywhere in Europe, Italy especially that’s where my family is from. France, Canada, I can’t choose just one.

Modeliste: Last country you visited?

Olivia Culpo: The last country I visited was Spain.

Modeliste: What country do you wish to visit?

Olivia Culpo: I am most looking forward to visiting the Maldives next.

 

Modeliste:         Best way to de-stress?

Olivia Culpo: For me, the best way to de-stress is playing the cello, it helps me just to ease my mind and take me out of the current moment. I love to meditate, I love to work out. If I’m not doing those things when I’m stressed out, I know that a panic attack is on its way.

Modeliste: If you had one super power, what would it be?

Olivia Culpo: If I had one superpower it would be to be able to teleport myself to any location I want in the world. You know, if you want to go home, have a nice home cooked meal, snap your fingers, you’re there. Want to be on a beach? Snap your fingers and you’re there.

Modeliste: What is your most favorite thing about yourself?

Olivia Culpo: It’s always so awkward when somebody asks you what your favorite quality is about yourself, which just feels very weird to say that out loud, but I do love that I’m very family oriented and I have a big family, and I come from a close-knit circle from my home.

Modeliste: What is something that people would be surprised to know about you?

Olivia Culpo: I think people would be surprised to know that I own a restaurant in Rhode Island, my hometown, with my family, and I also play the cello.

Modeliste: Secret talent?

Olivia Culpo: I can tie a cherry stem with my tongue, and I’m really good at catching things in my mouth, like popcorn and Skittles.

Modeliste: Number one tip to capture the perfect Instagram photo?

Olivia Culpo: Absolutely good lighting. You need to make sure that the light is perfect otherwise it just doesn’t go well.

Modeliste: Who was the last person you talked to on the phone?

Olivia Culpo:  The last person that I talked to on the phone was my mom.

Modeliste: What is the emoji which best describes you at the moment?

Olivia Culpo: The emoji that best describes me at the moment would be, what’s the one with the cross eyed, and the tongue hangs out?

Modeliste: Why?

Olivia Culpo: I don’t know. It’s funny. It’s my favorite one.

Modeliste:   What would be the title of your autobiography?

Olivia Culpo: My autobiography, that would mean that I was writing it so it would probably be, Life with Me.

Modeliste:  What would you most like to be remembered for?

Olivia Culpo: I would most like to be remembered for being a kind hard working person.

Modeliste: Favorite look from today’s shoot?

Olivia Culpo: Oh my God. I think my favorite look today, was the all latex, because I’ve never worn so much latex. I don’t think that I’ve ever worn latex pants, plus the hat, plus the top. I mean, it was on another level.

Modeliste: What do you love most about Modeliste magazine?

Olivia Culpo: I love that Modeliste magazine is not afraid to take risks.

Modeliste:   Why are you excited to be the next cover star?

Olivia Culpo: I am so excited to be the next cover star of Modeliste, because it’s a magazine that I’ve known for so long, and it was such an unbelievable team, everybody that was on this set is somebody that I admire so much. I can’t wait to see the final product and I hope everybody loves it.
