What are you most excited about these days?
Now that I have graduated and started to gain some momentum with my career, I think I am more excited than ever about my future. The world may not be back to “normal” just yet, and it may never be, but we have to keep pushing forward.

How did you begin your career as an influencer?
Honestly, I think my career as an influencer is just beginning. I have always had an interest in social media and content creation since I studied Mass Communication and Media Studies at Arizona State University, but for years I struggled to translate that interest into a paying job.

Are there any other avenues of your career that you would like to explore?
I feel like now more than ever there are opportunities to grow your brand beyond just one platform. This fall I plan to launch my own podcast, “Out of His League,” detailing the world of professional sports through my eyes, the girl next door.

What does a typical day look like for you?

A typical day for me ALWAYS starts with coffee. If I don’t have my coffee in the morning it can throw off my entire day. Then, it is on to my morning skincare routine (yes it has several steps). After that, I like to catch up on work emails and set goals for the day. I am the most productive in the morning and early afternoon so I try to complete all of my clerical tasks by then.

Since moving home and the pandemic, I have gotten in the habit of walking outside with my mom each day. Our walks are typically part workout, part therapy session, and part business meeting. Work wise, the rest of my day can vary significantly. Sometimes I am working on a project, other times I am brainstorming or researching for the next one. The evenings are my opportunity to recharge and regroup with family dinner and self care. Then finally it’s off to bed!

As a creator, how do you find ways to stay inspired?
I draw most of my inspiration from other creators, I love seeing how others can express their creativity and make something their own.

If you could switch lives with someone for a day who would it be?
That is a tough one. There are so many people that I feel I could learn from by walking in their shoes for a day, but if I had to choose just one, I would say Meghan Markle.

If your life had a theme song, what would it be?
“Unwritten” by Natasha Bedingfield. Some people may recognize it as the theme song for “The Hills,” but I actually sang it in my fourth grade talent show, and the lyrics still resonate with me to this day…“live your life with arms wide open,
today is where your book begins, the rest is still unwritten.”

Recent binge watches?
Bridgerton, The Crown, and whatever new crime documentary is on Netflix.

What advice can you give to someone who aspires to have a career like your own?
Don’t be afraid to take a risk. You never know what is going to happen until you take that first step. And if you fail, that is ok too. Some of my biggest failures have become my greatest successes.

What was your favorite part of our Mode Around The Globe getaway to Banyan Tree Mayakoba?
There are two things that I have missed the most while living in a pandemic: traveling and meeting new people. Our getaway to Banyan Tree Mayakoba allowed me to enjoy both of those things for the first time in a long time. Surrounded by inspiring women, sharing stories around the dinner table, enjoying amazing food in the most beautiful setting, I will miss that the most.
