How did you begin your career?
I’ve always loved all things fashion/beauty/social media related. After working in these industries on the brand side for my whole corporate career, I started to share content of my own as a hobby. It’s only been a couple years, but I’m so grateful for all the opportunities I’ve had thus far!
How do you hope to inspire people through your social media platform? What can your followers expect to see when visiting your social media page(s)?
On my social channels I aim to provide an everyday approach to obtainable luxury across the fashion, beauty, and wellness industries. I’m super picky about the products that I choose to feature, and like to really test things before sharing them. I also love to mix in some fun and silly content especially on TikTok.
What do you predict will be the biggest makeup trends this fall?
I think (and hope!) to see some bold eye/lip looks paired with lots of blush.
What was your favorite part about your stay at The Conrad Punta Mita?
Everything about the property was absolutely gorgeous, but I loooved the spa. They had these adorable outdoor huts where they do the massages. I loved being able to listen to the sounds of nature/feel the ocean breeze while getting my massage.
Do you have any upcoming travel plans? If so, where?
yes! Im headed back to Mexico to do some wedding venue tours— so excited to share more very soon!
What was your favorite thing about Punta Mita?
The weather, the food, the people, and the deep culture/history in the quaint little beach towns.
What's your go-to airport look? Essentials to pack in a carry on?
My go-to look is always a matching sweat set and APL sneakers— all about the comfy yet chic vibe. Essentials in my carry on: Lysol wipes, hand sanitizer, eye mask, lip products, face mist, snacks, headphones, and a good book.
Girls night in or Girls night out?
I love hosting dinner parties at home as it's the perfect mix of both!
What's a typical work week like for you? Any advice you have for staying productive throughout the week?
No work week looks the same, but staying highly organized/scheduling out everything is the best advice and has been a game changer for me. Google calendar and notion are my organizational BFFS!
What's your current skincare routine? Any products you'd recommend for our Modeliste readers?
I'm a huge skincare fan so i'm always trying new things, but some of my go-tos are:
-Tatcha Dewy: Skin Cream
-Caudalie Vino: Perfect Serum
-Kate Somerville: ExfoliKate Mask
-Beauty of Joseon: Toner
What's something your followers would be surprised to know about you?
My last name isn’t actually Bean! JacindaBean is an old nickname that I made my username in high school, and I just never ended up changing it.
Where do you gain inspiration for content? Any tips & tricks you'd like to share for those inspiring to have a career like your own?
I get so much inspo from traveling and immersing myself in different cultures. I love creating a Pinterest board of outfit inspo for any trip I'm going on, and creating a bespoke playlist too!
How do you stay true to yourself?
Spending time in nature, tapping into my intuition, and trusting myself.
