GETTING THERE
With the comfort and convenience of the Catalina Express, high speed, high tech vessels ferry guests from Long Beach, Dana Point, and San Pedro in style with up to 30 daily departures year round. Some vessels offer the further upgraded Captain Lounge which can be a hostess center for large groups with a full service bar serving cocktails, refreshments and snacks.  The Catalina Express anchors at the town of Avalon in the south and at Two Harbors in the north of the island. Guest are invited to start the day with a complimentary hot breakfast that features an egg scramble of the day, applewood smoked bacon and savory sausages, a selection of fresh breads, as well as lighter items including cereal and yogurt. Throughout your stay, you’re encouraged to attend the daily fitness classes at Island Spa Catalina that are included with your Pavilion Hotel stay (you’ll learn more later). Room amenities include your expected conveniences of WiFi, flatscreen TVs with cable, , mini refrigerators, coffee and tea, bottled water, a safe, and toiletries for bathing.
