Love is Everywhere.

With Valentine’s day approaching with such an emphasis on “Love”, it is of utmost importance to tap into the power that comes from loving yourself – a beautiful act which many of us tend to look outwards to receive, when in reality, looking inwards is far more essential and meaningful. The great Nora Ephron once said, “Above all, be the heroine of your life, not the victim.”

In this issue, we shine a light on how we, as women, have been reinvesting in ourselves- learning and reimagining how to be kinder to ourselves and how we can continue to do so to attain real and lasting change. Through our own heartfelt acts of self-love – and universal love – we have sought, even demanded, a more diverse, more inclusive, more equal, more sustainable world, and found wisdom in our collective selves and a more comprehensive sense of love.

Our incredible cover star Charlotte Lawrence is the very embodiment of self-love and positivity. Her “open your heart to the world” attitude shines through with her music and radiant, glowing, and genuinely beautiful personality.

Love is our common thread – Its beauty, its optimism, its power, its resilience. But above all else, in 2022 it is momentous and unwavering in its importance. In an uncertain and often tumultuous era, love, more than ever, is the answer. How you define and manifest it is up to you.
