Tell us about yourself!
My name is Luana Barron, I am from Peru. I am a woman who encourages empowerment in women. Also a creator of content in social networks of lifestyle, fashion, skincare, travel and sports. I am the founder of the clothing brand @betweenus_pe. During these last years my career has allowed me to grow both personally and professionally in an incredible way.

Describe yourself in three words.
Authentic, Sociable and Constant.

What can people expect to see from your social media platforms?
You will always be able to find everything on my platform. Starting by encouraging the empowerment of women as well as sharing lifestyle, vlogs, travel, fashion, skincare and beauty tips.

Can you share information about the process of creating the platform you have today? What challenges did you overcome and what part seemed perfect?
The process is long, you have to be constant to connect with your followers and get them to trust your content and what you share, in addition to creating important content and recreation for them. The biggest challenge was learning to love and accept myself as I am, to love every part of my body.

Nobody is perfect, we always try to show the best of ourselves, but the reality is that we are all human beings with feelings and we are always trying to be better people.

What’s something people would be surprised to know about you?
In reality, I have a large community that I feel loves me and likes what I do, that celebrates each of my triumphs, so I also know that they expect a lot from me.

What’s a goal in your career you hope to accomplish?
One of my goals is to internationalize my clothing brand @betweenus_pe, so that people can feel truly unique with each piece. Also one of my goals is to be able to go around the world.

What and who inspires you the most? Why?
Throughout my childhood my mother has been an example of overcoming, of falling and getting up as many times as necessary, so she is my inspiration.

As an influencer, how do you hope to influence people through your platform?
On my platform I always like to convey freedom, self-love and that the sky is the limit. Everything you set out to do can be achieved.

Who are your favorite content creators?
One of my favorites is Leonie Hanne. I love her content that is related to fashion!

Are you working on any exciting projects that you can share?
Yes, for this 2022 I have many beautiful projects, which I still can’t reveal much but I can anticipate that new collaborations are coming with some brands that I love!

What are three items in your closet you cannot live without?
The basics!! I feel that they are the perfect complement to put together a look. An oversize blue jean, a blazer and a basic top.

Essential product in your beauty routine?
If we talk about makeup, I can never miss a mascara to enhance the look and if we talk about skincare, the sunscreen – it is important to take care of our face.

What was your favorite part of staying at Garza Blanca Cancun? What activities would you recommend for someone looking to visit?
I really love everything! From the moment we arrived we were received in the best way. The attention is incredible and they are super attentive. There are many activities to do there, the beach is beautiful and you can do various water sports and enjoy the delicious restaurants.

What are you looking forward to most in 2022?
First, thank you for all of 2021, and this 2022 continue in the search for support to create a shelter or an NGO to help abandoned puppies.

What advice would you give to someone who aspires to have a career like yours?
Be authentic and constant. That you take risks, it is not easy but if you are constant you will go far and the best thing is that you will enjoy the process.

Thank you for all the love, support and for being part of my day to day! They always motivate me and I want to thank them also for helping to grow this community together that allows us to help many in self-love.
