What originally inspired you to get into fashion blogging?
I’ve always had a fascination and draw to the fashion world and when I caught on to the world of blogging I was instantly intrigued. At the time I wasn’t around many people who shared my same interest so blogging seemed like the perfect avenue and way to join the conversation and be a part of a community of like-minded people.

How would you describe your style?
I am definitely a west coast girl through and through. Most of my outfits have an undone, ease about them. As I get older I am drawn to more simplistic, clean lines but I’ll always love a bit of a boho or western flare thrown in somewhere.

What are some of your must-have fashion essentials for summer?
An arsenal of solid denim is a must-have for me. Most of my days are spent in denim cutoffs or cropped high waisted jeans. Also cannot forget tons of neck scarves and chokers.

What do you hope your readers take away from your blog?
I hope my readers get a better sense of my personality. It’s difficult to convey much through a couple sentences on Instagram so I hope that through my blog people can really hear my voice.

What are some of your favorite places to shop?
I am a big Zara fanatic. The addiction is real. I also love Revolve, Free People, and neighborhood vintage shops.

What are you currently wearing?
I am currently wearing cut cropped Joe’s Jeans, a Mate the Label tee that says “Bahama Mama,” and black leather sliders from Topshop. Also special appearance by a claw clip in my hair.

What are some of your fashion tips for festivals like Coachella?
Always wear comfortable shoes- there’s tons of walking, dancing, and feet trampling involved at festivals. I would also say that if you want to stand out from the crowd, try creating outfits that are unique and original. Shop where most girls aren’t shopping and mix in vintage pieces. Lastly would be that more is more- it’s the best time to fully go for it! Should you wear that 4th necklace?- YES.

What is your favorite piece of jewelry you own?
I have a gold and jade necklace my dad brought back for me from a trip to Asia. At the time I thought it was hideous but I am thankful my mom hung on to it for me because it is now one of my sacred treasures.

Do you have any current sunglasses style obsessions?
I currently am a big fan of small, round sunglasses. Also really digging crystal frames and green lenses.

What are you most looking forward to in summer?
This summer I am looking forward to spending time outdoors with friends i.e. picnics, weekend getaways, and splashing in the water. I also am excited to work on new work projects and life changes!

Do you have any favorite handbags at the moment?
Saint Laurent monogramme leather bag, Givenchy Antigona bag, Gucci Dionysus, and Chloé Faye!

Who takes your photos for the blog?
The majority of my photos are taken by my boyfriend who actually was the main catalyst for me starting my blog. When he’s not available I usually shoot with fellow blogger babes! We’ve all become quite the novice photographers ourselves.

What is your most used emoji?
Probably the laughing/crying face because I’m usually laughing/crying.

What is your most played song in your iTunes library?
Future Islands- Seasons (Waiting On You)

What advice would you give someone who wants to get into the world of fashion blogging?
My advice would be to not try to replicate what you perceive it is you’re supposed to be like because of what is already out there. Most important thing is to have your own voice and aesthetic and stay true to it. Also that you need to be ready to hustle!

Where would you most like to travel to that you haven’t been yet?
One day I will make it to Japan. I also really would love to go to Boracay, Philippines and Bali.

What plans do you have for your blog in the next 5 years?
In the next 5 years I imagine I will be in a completely different phase in my life so I’m sure my blog will reflect that. I hope to keep growing, sharing, and expanding on my interests and lifestyle beyond just fashion. Stay tuned!

What is your favorite hairstyle for when you’re running late?
Messy ponytail or just leaving it all down and messy!

What is your favorite dessert?
Now you’re speaking my language. I have the craziest sweet tooth so it is difficult for me to choose just one but I’d have to go with Sprinkles red velvet cupcakes.

What was your favorite part of the Modeliste blogger trip?
Dinner on the beach at La Palapa. The food and view was beyond amazing!
