I’m an immigrant from Romania that fell in love with skincare and beauty and found a career in blogging thanks to social media.

In what ways have you been incorporating self – care into your daily routine?
My skincare routine IS my self-care. I take my time during my morning and night routines because it’s a time to unwind and focus on me for 10-15 minutes.

What’s the most fulfilling part of your job?
I love connecting to women all over the world. It’s amazing how social media has created a world within reach, new friendships and inspirations at your fingertips.

Can you tell us about an exciting time in your career?
Every time I had a work trip that took me out of my element and placed me in a new environment to create new content it’s always very exciting.

What would you title this current chapter in your life?
A new adventure

Freedom and confidence to choose what you want, when you want, without any pressure.

Honestly, keeping myself busy so I don’t fall into a slump.

I think content took a turn for a more natural and real esthetic. I love that you find inspiration now in the comfort of home.

I think all the hardships I’ve gone through that I don’t always talk about have shaped my growth more than anything.

How can you as an individual actively take part in fighting a system of oppression and standing in solidarity with your peers of color to amplify their voices?
By talking about what’s going on and raising awareness and supporting the black community. I have implemented clauses in my contract where brands I work with have to answer a set of questions about how inclusive they are and their standards and morals of the brand.

I read a lot and watched a lot of documentaries but mainly talking to my friends and family in an open and honest way.

What advice do you have for someone who aspires to create a career like your own?
To find what they are passionate about and find a community of influencers that can support you through your journey. I didn’t have that and had to learn through trial and error but now I see how women bond together for a common goal and support each other along the way and it’s wonderful to see.
