Tell us how the label came about.
I am obsessed with the fashion industry and I am always looking out for new designs to wear and at times it’s quite a struggle. It is very difficult to find high-end designs within a reasonable price range. I wanted to create fashionable designs at affordable prices for the woman of today and that’s how Vannae came about.
How would you describe the Vannae girl?
The Vannae girl is independent, alluring and sophisticated. She is bold, loves making a statement and doesn’t always follow trends.
What makes the line unique?
We offer arrange of high-end cocktail apparel at affordable prices.
What was the inspiration behind the latest collection?
The inspiration behind my latest collection is the cities that I have visited and the people that I have met inspired ‘A Momentary stay’. I wanted the designs to be elegant, timeless and sexy through the use of contour lines and monotone.
What do you see as the biggest fashion trends of 2016?
70’s inspired fashion, suede fabrics, lace, low rise, light denim and bright tangerine shades.
What are your top 5 must haves for the season?
Off shoulders, jumpsuits, LBD dress, killer bright pair of heels and accessories.
What’s next for the line?
You will definitely see more colours in the next collection through with the use of lace and crepe fabric.
What is the best way to connect with and follow the line?
Social media has been the most successful marketing tool for my brand. You can easily showcase your work through the use of Instagram and facebook, just by posting good quality pictures and it’s actually is an awesome way of interacting and connecting with your audience and gaining new customers.
