Hello gorgeous, Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I am a NY native, founder of jewelry brand Aureum Collective and digital entrepreneur.

How would you define yourself in three words?
Strong, Positive, Relentless

In what ways have you been incorporating self – care into your daily routine?
My number one priority during this time has been my mental health. I’ve been trying to break the habit of checking my phone when I first wake up in the morning. Instead, I start my day writing in a gratitude journal and I give myself time to reflect on the positive things that I already have in my life.

What’s the most fulfilling part of your job?
Having the opportunity to connect with so many other strong females worldwide.

Can you tell us about an exciting time in your career?
Launching Aureum Collective is definitely my proudest moment.

What would you title this current chapter in your life?

Self Discovery – I’m constantly learning, growing, and striving to be the best version of myself. I finally feel like I’ve stopped worrying about what other people think of me and my main priority is my own happiness and success.

How do you educate yourself on ways of maintaining healthy skin?
I love learning tips and tricks from my peers but I always ask my dermatologist as well. I also take care of my skin from the inside out with plenty of water and proper nutrition.

What do you love most about Pixi Beauty?
How they take a natural, simple approach to beauty. Their products are multi purpose and give you a fresh look while also treating your skin. I’ve always been a huge believer in less is more when it comes to beauty products.

What are your top 3 favorite Pixi Beauty products?
On the go blush, Glowtion Day Dew, Under eye brightener

What does the word empowerment mean to you?

Having the confidence to take control of your life and go after your dreams.

In what ways do you use your platform for the greater good?
I hope that by sharing my own personal experience I can inspire others to have the confidence to go after their own dreams. I feel the greater good is caused by people following what they’re passionate and meant to do.

During these tough times, what has kept you motivated?
I always have a vision board at my desk. I compile things I want to accomplish or things I want in my life. Constantly looking at it reminds me to stay on track so that I can make those things reality.

How do you remain fit, active, and healthy with stay-at-home orders intact?
I created an area in my apartment specifically for working out, it helps separate my space. I always follow a workout on an app led by an instructor, I find it so difficult to stay motivated doing my own routine.

As a creative in quarantine, how have you found inspiration and ways to create?
I try to be creative when I’m in the moment and figure out new ways to capture what I’m already doing in my day to day life.

What and/or who has had the most influence on your growth and why?

My fiancé Matt, we constantly push each other to the next level which is what I love most about our relationship. We both think so highly of each other so we never let each other fall short of our potential.

How can you as an individual actively take part in fighting a system of oppression and standing in solidarity with your peers of color to amplify their voices?
I stand for inclusion by supporting black owned businesses, educating myself, and always standing up against racism when I see it in person.

How have you found ways to educate yourself and those around you?
Listening to personal stories people share on social media, reading, and listening to podcasts. I think it’s important to educate yourself on the history of racism as well as the present injustices.

What do you think are ways that others can help society and our surrounding communities?
By taking collective action. Some ways to do this are by amplifying voices on social media, making donations, or signing petitions.

In what ways has your life changed due to current events?
It’s really opened by eyes to how much work we still have to do to evolve as a society. It’s also taught me the importance of taking a stance and using my platform for causes bigger than myself.

What advice do you have for someone who aspires to create a career like your own?
Be confident. So many obstacles will come your way and constantly make you doubt yourself but the only way to keep going is to work on your confidence and truly believe in yourself.
