Modeliste experienced our own beachfront picnic courtesy of The Table Service for our Editor-in-Chief’s daughter’s 10th birthday- a Picnic and Paint party and cherished every moment of the festivities. Founders Gloria and Stephanie, the duo behind the company, shared what inspired them to create the company, what makes it so unique and why a picnic is the ultimate most fashionable Summer must-do.
Tell us about the concept behind the Table Service.
Ideally we are a luxury picnic service. We create customized full table setups for all occasions. We also offer setups for kids birthdays and dining heights table Service for the more elegant occasion.
What is the inspiration behind the company’s creation?
Our biggest inspiration is being able to explore our creative side and bringing people together. We just love the expressions our client gives when they arrive and see their set up. The moment is truly priceless.
What makes it so unique?
What makes us unique is the freedom we give our clients on customizing their events. They give us their vision and we make it come to life. We are also unique from other picnic companies because we make the tables ourselves. We never say no to big parties. If we don’t have enough tables, we just make more as needed.
What type of events do you create?
We create every type of event. Birthdays, baby showers, bridal showers, proposals and micro weddings.
What are your favorite locations which you arrange the events at?
Our most popular locations are beaches and parks. However, we do love a backyard setting as it is more intimate and private.
What is typically included in your specialized event services?
We include a full table setting along with table decorations, rugs, pillows, and some props to compliment the settings. You can also add on fun jumbo games to make your event extra fun.
What essentials do you need to make your set up so chic?
Fresh flower arrangements and dried florals are highly requested. Fresh florals for a more elegant look and dried florals for that boho feel.
What are your tips to creating a successful summer event?
Definitely incorporating fun colorful colors for that summer vibe. It is also fun to include other vendors such as balloons and marquee letters to make that event extra grand.
Favorite picnic essentials?
A teepee is a must. It definitely compliments the table setup quite nicely. Hence, our logo 🙂
