How did you begin your career?
I started my YouTube channel and a blog in 2013 while in University and by the time I graduated in 2016, it was my full-time job!
How do you hope to inspire people through your social media platform? What can your followers expect to see when visiting your social media page(s)?
I love to entertain and try to include something fun and something educational as takeaways from every upload. We are all just trying to get through the day and I want my community to feel inspired, but also good and supported when they come to my pages.
What do you predict will be the biggest makeup trends this spring?
Orange everything and bright bold lips.
What was your favorite part about your stay at the Fairmont Kea Lani?
Listen, the breakfast buffet is my favorite part of any vacay. Kea Lani knows what’s up at their omelet station!
Do you have any upcoming travel plans? If so, where?
I have a lot of travel due to work coming up, but my top destination that I am ACHING to visit personally is Turkey!
What was your favorite Pixi product you tried while in Hawaii?
The juicy blush stick is so gorgeous for spring and summer.
What’s your go-to airport look? Essentials to pack in a carry on?
I do not believe in discomfort on airplanes. I love a matching sweatsuit set with sneakers that is comfortable on any length of flight, and if I need to look presentable, I can always pack a change of clothes in my carry on! Essentials are anything to refresh on the go. Face mist, deodorant, fragrance, and hand cream are some of my must haves.
Girls night in or Girls night out?
Listen, that depends on the mood and the vibe and where we are … if it’s a girls night at home, we are staying in and making dinner and playing a game. If we are elsewhere for the night or weekend — we are going OUT to dance!
What’s a typical work week like for you? Any advice you have for staying productive throughout the week?
Every week is different for me so it can be hard to stick to a routine. My only advice is to plan ahead and be adaptable. I heard a quote recently that said “how you spend your day is how you spend your life” and that usually helps me get out of bed and rock on with what I need to get done!
What’s your current skincare routine? Any products you’d recommend for our Modeliste readers?
I recently simplified my skincare routine right down to the basics and am only using what I need. Vitamin C, Retinol, a hydrating cream, sunscreen, and a cleanser. Everything else is for fun and fluff!
What would you like to say to your fans/followers?
I love you all and thank you for making the internet a wonderful place to be in, every single day! I am forever so grateful and feel so lucky to have such a loving community of incredible and hilarious people.
