Who is someone you admire and why?
My father. Not only has he given me the world, but he also taught me that this world is far too big to be rooted in one place.

Best piece of advice you’ve ever received.
Stay true to who you are and do what you love. It’s simple but it’s key.

List a goal you wish to accomplish this year.
My goal is to launch another Women Prosper affirmation & quote card decks! Women prosper is a community I created on Instagram with the mission to inspire and support women on their personal growth and self-love journey.

What is something Modeliste readers would be surprised to learn about you?
That I have lived in 6 different countries, Brazil, South Africa, Germany, Sweden, Canada and United States. So I often have a hard time defining where home is.

What can people expect to see when following you on your social media platforms?
Expect to see a glimpse of my life whether it’s me traveling, going out, staying in or anything in between. I also love sharing my favorite products and brands and what’s on my mind. On my YouTube channel is where I enjoy being an open book about my life experiences and more.

How did you develop your career as an influencer?
I truly enjoyed posting photos of my day to day life and engaging with women on the platform, and it grew to a community that I am extremely blessed to have. However, after already having 200k+ followers, I went on a reality TV show called Love Island USA season 1 and it helped me expand my audience as an influencer!

What’s your favorite part of having a successful career as an influencer? What’re some challenges you face and how do you overcome them?
My favorite thing is doing what I love and having the opportunity to have an impact on my followers which makes this career path purposeful. The challenges are that you want to connect with your audience by being more open and authentic. I often battle with wanting to be private but also being raw. I overcome this by setting appropriate boundaries with what I think is okay to share and what’s not.

What advice do you have for someone who aspires to be an influencer?
Be yourself, don’t try to fit into a “type” or a niche that is not meant for you. Authenticity is what will set you apart.

What do you enjoy doing in your free-time?
Spending time with friends and family.

Take us behind the scenes of your beauty routine.
I keep it simple-ish. I wash my hair once a week and deep condition it but refresh it with water and leave it on throughout the week every morning. For skin care, I use a cleanser, acne treatment OR serums, moisturizer, and sunscreen. Major key is a body scrub every 3 days and I always shave with shower body oil and use aftershave sprays before applying my body lotion for smoother skin.

Favorite brands to shop?
There are too many… I don’t even know where to start. Lancôme, Benefit, Fenty Beauty, and more.

What’s one item you cannot travel without?
My leave in conditioner from Auntie Jackie’s curl smoothie.

What was your favorite part of your stay with Modeliste Magazine at the Royal Belize?
To be very honest, waking up every morning and realizing I am living my dream life. The location was surreal, and I literally had to pinch myself every time I woke up and looked out the window.

What do you love most about Modeliste Magazine?
The energy, the people I was surrounded by. It’s beautiful being with other creative and ambitious girls, it is extremely inspiring.

Where do you see yourself in ten years?
When I am 34 years old, I hope to have a happy family, living somewhere warm, waking up and loving what I do every day which is continuing to spread light and positivity in my community on
@womenprosper and @caroviee.

Any upcoming projects you can share with us?
Yes, I am working on a new Affirmation & Quote card deck for Women Prosper. The theme is relationships & break ups! I am sharing all affirmations and quotes that helped me heal and become a stronger woman after being continuously heart broken. Talking about Ex’s, I will be on a reality show called Ex On The Beach that will be premiering on March 31st 2022 on MTV!
