What inspired you to start your journey as an influencer and model?
I was inspired by the creators I grew up watching. When I decided to start posting my own content, it felt so natural, and now I am lucky enough to inspire and connect with others.
How do you define your personal style?
Timeless and simple. I love having simple staple pieces in my closet and then adding unique accessories. My style is always evolving depending on where I am and what I’m doing, but I think that’s what makes fashion so fun.
What's a beauty or fashion trend you're currently obsessed with?
The 90s layered haircut and blowout!
What's something you always bring on every trip, no matter what?
A face mask. The best feeling after a travel day is sitting in bed with a face mask on.
What's a moment you felt truly proud of yourself?
When I moved to NYC by myself. I was so nervous moving to a big city where I didn’t know anyone, but I’m proud of myself for doing it on my own. It turned out to be such a unique experience where I met some amazing people and learned so much along the way.
What’s the best piece of career advice you’ve ever received?
Comparison is the thief of joy. This is something I used to struggle with, especially being on social media and seeing everyone’s highlights. I was spending too much time focusing on other people’s lives and not enough on my own. I learned to appreciate the things in my life, and that’s when I started to see my own success.
What's a moment in your career that made you stop and think, "Wow, this is real"?
It was definitely a pinch-me moment going on my first brand trip. I was honestly speechless that brands I grew up loving are now sending me on a trip where I get to meet other amazing influencers that I’ve always looked up to.
How do you stay grounded in such a fast-paced industry?
The people I surround myself with.
What’s something you’ve learned about yourself through your career?
That I am more introverted than I thought. Even though I love creating content and connecting with people, I really value my time alone to recharge.
What's a piece of advice that changed your life?
Change is scary but so is staying the same. I think about this anytime there is a big change happening in my life. As someone who likes consistency, it can be so uncomfortable, but I would not be who I am or where I am today if I stayed the same.
What was your favorite part of Modeliste's Aruba Getaway?
Meeting all of the girls! Being an influencer, everything is online so it’s hard to get that
in-person connection. I always think it’s the coolest thing to meet the girls and learn about their lives.
What did you love most about Radisson Blu Aruba?
Being able to wake up, walk onto my balcony and see the beautiful view (and the iced
lattes!).
What do you love most about Modeliste Magazine?
I love how they bring together so many amazing women and share their voice in fashion, beauty, and in life.
