How would you describe yourself in three words?
Creative, curious, and attentive.

What inspired you to start creating content or working in the influencer space?
I posted my first YouTube video back in 2013, long before being an influencer was really considered a thing, much less a career. At the time, I was just a teenager who wanted to share my fashion tips and beauty hacks with other girls online who had the same interests as me. Coming from a small town in Sweden, I often felt like I didn’t fully fit in, and the internet gave me the sense of community I was missing in real life.

I never could’ve imagined that posting my first video—a “fake belly button tutorial”—would become the beginning of an entire career and ultimately the life I had always dreamed of. With that said, becoming a content creator was never really the plan, but rather something that naturally developed over time through my love for fashion, beauty, and videography.

What does a “perfect day” look like for you?
A perfect day for me is when I get to combine a productive workday with time to slow down and be present. I love days where I feel creatively inspired and get to bring ideas to life through my work, then head out to spend time outdoors, move my body, and be around the people closest to me. For me, it doesn’t have to be anything extravagant. Honestly, some of my favorite days are usually the simplest ones.

What’s something your followers might be surprised to learn about you?
I think a lot of people assume all influencers are super extroverted, but I’m actually quite an introvert. I’ve always felt much more comfortable in one-on-one conversations, smaller groups, and more personal settings, which might sound ironic considering I speak to millions of followers every day through my work. But the idea of speaking on a stage in front of a huge crowd would honestly terrify me.

What’s been your proudest moment so far, personally or professionally?
I think one of my proudest moments personally was when I moved away from my hometown at 19 years old. Since my early teens, I had always dreamed of living abroad and creating a bigger life for myself, and I’m really proud of my younger self for having the courage to take such a big leap into the unknown at that age.

Looking back, I think that decision shaped so much of who I am today. It taught me independence, resilience, and that some of the biggest growth in life comes from being willing to leave your comfort zone and trust yourself before you feel fully ready.

How do you usually start your mornings?
I love routines and honestly spend most of my mornings almost exactly the same. I usually wake up early, and after having a shower, dry brushing, and doing my skincare, I have the same breakfast I’ve eaten almost every day for the past three years—eggs, Greek yogurt, and blueberries—before heading outdoors for a walk to get some early steps and sunlight.

I’m fortunate enough to live close to the beach, so one of my favorite things to do is walk barefoot by the ocean before the city wakes up and before I move into the more hectic part of my day.

What’s your go-to confidence boost when you’re feeling off?
Honestly, I’ve learned that the best thing I can do whenever I’m feeling off is move my body. It always helps clear my mind. I put on my favorite workout outfit, walk to the gym with good music blasting in my headphones, breathe some fresh air, get my heart pumping, and more often than not, I feel much better by the time I’m done with my workout.

I think sometimes we forget how connected our mind and body really are. Even from a biological perspective, movement, sunlight, and exercise genuinely help regulate your mood and make you feel better mentally. So even if it can feel like the last thing you’d want to do when you’re feeling off, it’s hard not to feel at least a little better if you just show up and do it.

Who or what inspires you the most right now?
Right now, I’m honestly most inspired by the amazing women I have around me. Seeing women around me go after bigger dreams, step outside their comfort zones, and create lives on their own terms is incredibly inspiring to me. I think there’s something really powerful about surrounding yourself with people who remind you that you’re capable of so much more than you think.

How would you describe your personal style in three words?
Feminine, glamorous, and chic. Feminine, colorful, and playful.

What’s one goal you’re currently working toward?
I’m currently working on building my per One goal I’ve been really committed to this past year is working on myself emotionally and mentally. This summer actually marks my one-year anniversary of going to therapy, and it’s honestly been one of the most life-changing things I’ve done for myself.

I think people often focus so much on external success, but learning more about yourself, healing old patterns, and becoming the person your younger self needed—and would be proud of—is, in my opinion, just as important, if not more.

What’s your favorite way to unwind or reset?
One of my favorite ways to unwind and reset is switching my phone off and spending a day at the beach. I love either going with my friends or on my own, bringing my Kindle, reading in the sun, taking long walks by the water, and enjoying some good food.

What’s a travel destination that has had the biggest impact on you and why?
I lived in Mexico for a while and felt really inspired by the people and culture I got to know during my time there. People felt much more open, colorful, and expressive in comparison to what I had experienced growing up in Sweden, and I think being surrounded by that energy changed the way I express myself in a lot of ways.

What do you look for in friendships or the people you surround yourself with?
As I’ve gotten older, I’ve become much more intentional about who I surround myself with. I’m very grateful to have such a strong community of women who truly support and care for each other, especially considering that I live abroad, so my friends have really become my second family.

They’re all kind, emotionally mature, supportive, and genuinely happy people who cherish those around them, which are qualities I really value in friendships. I think the people you keep close to you really shape your mindset and the kind of person you become, so choosing to spend time with people who focus on the right things in life and bring out the best in each other is really important to me.

What’s a lesson you’ve learned recently that stuck with you?
One lesson I’m actually re-learning right now is how important it is to slow down and be present instead of constantly chasing the next thing. I think it’s such an easy lesson to forget because the society we live in today is so focused on goals, productivity, and what’s coming next. Before you know it, you might be so caught up in everything that you forget to actually enjoy your life while you’re living it.

Therapy has reminded me how important it is to reconnect with myself and stay present a little more instead of always feeling like happiness exists somewhere in the future. If you relate to this, I can really recommend my all-time favorite book, The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle.

What’s your current favorite song, show, or obsession?
I’m not going to lie—Drake’s new album has been on repeat since he dropped it, and it’s honestly growing on me more and more.

What does success mean to you right now in this season of life?
Right now, success to me honestly means freedom. Freedom to create a life that feels authentic to me, freedom to choose how I spend my time, who I surround myself with, where I live, and what kind of life I want to build for myself. To me, freedom is the true luxury.

What’s something you’re still learning about yourself?
I think I’m still learning how to get out of my own head a little more and express myself more freely instead of overanalyzing everything first.

If you could give your younger self one piece of advice, what would it be?
I would tell my younger self to never shrink herself or abandon who she is just to be accepted, loved, or chosen by other people. The right people will never require you to become less of yourself.

What’s next for you? Anything you’re especially excited about?
I have a content trip coming up after summer to a country I’ve always dreamed of visiting but never had the chance to experience before, which I’m really excited about. I’ll get to take my followers behind the scenes into some of the world’s most exclusive skincare and beauty spaces, which I can’t wait to share. Make sure to follow me at @sweastyle so you don’t miss it.

What did you love most about your stay at Nikki Beach Koh Samui, Thailand?
I absolutely loved staying with the group, but besides the people, I also loved the breathtaking scenery. We literally got to live in a house right on the beach with the most stunning sunsets. And the coconuts—you need to try them if you ever come here!
