Tell us a little about yourself and how you would describe your personal brand in three words?
Hi, I’m Lexi Wood! I’m a model and creative living and working between Los Angeles and New York City. I’ve been in the fashion and entertainment industry since I was young, and over the years I’ve had the opportunity to travel the world, collaborate with incredible brands and creatives, and grow through both the work and the experiences that come with it. I’d describe my personal brand in three words: Authentic, Evolving, and SEXI (with an I! lol).

What inspired you to begin your journey as a content creator, entrepreneur, or influencer?
I started modeling when I was 11 years old as a way to build my confidence. I kept getting booked, and over time I began traveling the world for work while my following grew naturally and gradually along the way.

It’s all felt very organic for me. I never really set out with a specific plan to become a content creator or influencer. It’s just evolved over time through my experiences in the industry and sharing little parts of my life as it’s unfolded. I’m so grateful to have this life and platform, and I never take it for granted.

How would you describe your personal style, and where do you find fashion inspiration?
My style is definitely a mix of masculine and feminine. I love pairing feminine pieces with more relaxed or tailored masculine elements—it’s what feels most like me. I get a lot of inspiration from living between Los Angeles and New York City, and from all the places I’m lucky enough to travel to for work. I’m always people-watching, and some of my favorite style inspiration comes from seeing how people express themselves in everyday life.

What are three wardrobe staples you can't live without?
A little black dress, an oversized men’s jacket, and my Miss Z Louboutin heels.

What does a typical day in your life look like when you're not traveling?
When I’m not traveling, my days are usually a mix of work and little routines that keep me grounded. I have a talent agency with my mom and sister called ALTI The Agency (I’m actually represented by them—we like to keep it all in-house!), so my mornings often start with team meetings to go over what’s on the schedule and what’s coming up.

After that, I’ll usually put on some music and dance around the house for a bit. It’s my favorite way to get my energy flowing and start the day on a positive note. Then it’s usually a coffee run, a few errands, and getting to work. I feel incredibly lucky to do what I do, and I never take a single day of it for granted.

What passions or interests do you have outside of social media and content creation?
So many! I feel like I’m a very multifaceted person and have a lot of interests outside of social media and content creation. What really fuels my soul, though, is spending time with the people I love. The connection, camaraderie, storytelling, and endless laughter are some of my favorite parts of life. At the end of the day, making memories and sharing experiences with my people is what fills my cup the most.

What has been the most rewarding moment of your career so far?
Having the opportunity to build a business with my family has honestly been the most rewarding part of my career. Not only have the last three years working together been my most successful so far, but it’s also made everything feel so much more meaningful.

Modeling can be a really lonely industry. I've traveled the world alone and lived in different countries on my own, so being able to do it all now with my mom and sister by my side has completely changed the experience. It’s honestly the best part of it all.

Who are some of the women that inspire you and why?
If you can’t already tell from this interview, my mom and sister are two of my biggest inspirations. They’re the coolest, kindest, hardest-working women, and they’re also my best friends, which I feel really lucky to say. I’ve also been really fortunate over my 17-year career to meet and work with so many incredible women in the industry. I’ve made amazing female friendships along the way, and I’m so grateful to be surrounded by women who genuinely support, uplift, and root for each other.

What is one piece of advice that has had a lasting impact on your life?
Honestly, I think the best advice I’ve ever received is to have faith and trust my own timing. My journey is my journey, and things are going to unfold the way they’re meant to.

In this industry especially, it’s so important to trust yourself, your abilities, and your path. It’s something I have to remind myself of constantly, but it’s had a really lasting impact on how I move through my career and life.

How do you stay motivated and creatively inspired?
I think staying grounded in gratitude is my biggest source of motivation. When I’m in that mindset, everything feels like a gift—the work, the opportunities, even the challenges—and it naturally keeps me inspired to keep going. It just makes me feel really lucky to do what I do, and that energy carries into everything else.

What are your favorite beauty products or self-care rituals at the moment?
I’m really into simple beauty and self-care rituals at the moment. I love under-eye patches—they feel so refreshing. I also love using a gua sha in the morning to help depuff and wake up my skin. And SPF is a non-negotiable for me. I think it’s one of the most important things for keeping your skin healthy and feeling your best long-term.

When planning a trip, what are the top three things you look for in a destination?
I love experiencing new places and cultures, so going somewhere I’ve never been is always really exciting for me. The food is a big one too—I’m a huge foodie. I also love when a destination feels inspiring creatively, whether that’s the fashion, the scenery, or just the overall energy of the place. I like a mix of relaxation and adventure—somewhere I can unwind but also explore and do things.

What does luxury travel mean to you?
To me, luxury travel isn’t just about where you’re staying—it’s really about how you feel while you’re there. Although staying at Castello di Porciano is definitely the epitome of luxury!

I think luxury is just as much about ease and comfort. It’s a smooth flight, arriving somewhere and feeling taken care of, and having small routines that help you settle in so you can actually enjoy the experience instead of feeling rushed or exhausted. For me, the real luxury is being fully present in a place and being able to take it all in without stress.

If you could visit anywhere in the world next, where would it be and why?
I’ve always wanted to go to Greece. I’ve been booked on photoshoots there a few times, but every time something ends up changing at the last minute and the shoot moves to another destination, so I still haven’t made it there yet. I can’t wait to go.

What is something your followers would be surprised to learn about you?
I’m actually very shy! I come across as bubbly and outgoing now, but it’s taken a lot to get here. I’ve had to really push myself out of my comfort zone over the years, and now it’s second nature thankfully. I love empowering others to step out of their comfort zone too—that’s really my passion.

What is your favorite way to unwind and recharge?
My skincare routine, a cup of tea, and a rom-com!

How do you balance your personal life with the demands of content creation and social media?
For me, content creation has always felt really naturally and authentically integrated into my life. I’m usually just living my day-to-day routine, using products I genuinely love or wearing outfits I already feel good in, so it actually doesn’t feel like work—just sharing my favorite things online with a million friends, hehe.

Because of that, it’s been pretty easy to balance my personal life with social media. It all kind of flows together, and I just try to stay present in whatever I’m doing while still sharing it online.

What are some goals or aspirations you're currently working toward?
I’ve always been the type of person who reaches a goal and then immediately starts aiming higher. I grew up really shy, so starting modeling at such a young age and constantly putting myself in uncomfortable situations has actually become my comfort zone now.

I have a lot of goals, and I don’t think I’ll ever stop evolving or setting new ones. I’d love to start my own brand one day and continue building on the relationships I have with the brands and people I’m already working with. Lately, I’ve also been thinking a lot about acting. It feels so far outside my comfort zone, which is exactly why it excites me. I think it would be really cool to challenge myself in that way. I love love and romance, and honestly, I would love to be in a rom-com movie or series one day.

What upcoming projects, collaborations, launches, or exciting news would you like to share with our readers?
I’ve been working on a few projects that I’m so beyond excited about. I can’t share too much just yet, but I will say there are some really fun things coming that feel very aligned and special to me.

Looking back on your time at Castello Di Porciano, what was the highlight of your experience, and what made it so memorable?
The biggest highlight for me was honestly the connections I made while I was there. By the end of the trip, it really felt like we had all become a little family—from the other girls shooting for Modeliste, to the team at the castle, to everyone who helped make the trip happen, and of course Amy. It was such a special experience being surrounded by so many amazing people in such an incredible setting. I was so sad to leave everyone, but I know we’ll all be reunited soon.
