For those meeting you for the first time, how would you describe yourself and your content in three words?
Authentic, unexpected, and rooted in love.
What originally inspired you to start creating content?
I began my career as a model before Instagram even existed. My audience grew organically through my work as the face of brands like PacSun, Wet Seal, and Tilly’s, and later expanded significantly after winning Miss California. Creating content became a way for me to show who I truly am beyond being a “human mannequin.” Sharing my testimony of anorexia recovery, beauty, and faith allowed me to connect with my audience on a deeper, more human level.
What’s one thing your audience might be surprised to learn about you?
Honestly, probably nothing—I’m a proud oversharer. My audience knows my hidden talents, my struggles, my wins, and just about every chapter of my life. I’ve always believed vulnerability creates real connection.

How would you describe your personal style on vacation versus at home?
On vacation, I gravitate toward flowy silhouettes and vibrant colors. Bright tones against my Ecuadorian skin make me feel most alive and beautiful. At home, comfort reigns—I live in workout wear and elevated cozy sets.
What does having your very own magazine feature mean to you as a creator?
It’s truly an honor. It allows readers to see a more personal side of me beyond social media. This being my third Modeliste trip, I’m so grateful for a team that fosters genuine friendships, celebrates individuality, and highlights us in a way that deeply connects with the audience.
What were your first impressions of Puerto Vallarta?
Puerto Vallarta holds a very special place in my heart—I got married there three years ago. The moment I landed, all those emotions came rushing back. While I know PV inside and out, staying at this resort for the first time felt fresh, tropical, and incredibly inspiring.

What moment from the trip made you stop and think, wow, this is special?
The very first night. The energy was perfect—no egos, no bad vibes. Everyone was warm and welcoming, and I instantly bonded with my new Latina bestie, Kels. That connection alone made the trip unforgettable.
Favorite look, outfit, or glam moment from the getaway?
The photoshoot looks were my favorite. They truly reflected who I am and allowed me to incorporate my Ecuadorian heritage, especially through the artisanal jewelry we wore.
Which part of the experience made the best content for you and why?
Every corner of the hotel felt like a content moment. There wasn’t one specific highlight because everything flowed so naturally—it was effortless and a dream to shoot.
How did this trip inspire you creatively?
Sunshine definitely helps—I’m my best self when I’m tan. Beyond that, being in Mexico allowed me to fully lean into Spanglish content, which resonates deeply with my Latino audience. I felt completely at home.
What was you r favorite brand or partnership moment during the trip?
Skechers, without a doubt. I’ve modeled for them for over 10 years, so experiencing the brand from the influencer side was such a full-circle moment. Getting to enjoy fun activities in their slip-ins made it even better.
How did being surrounded by other creators impact your experience?
When the energy is right, these trips are such a blessing. There was zero competition—only collaboration. My Canadian queen Lindsey helped me brainstorm and shoot when I felt creatively stuck, and I loved how everyone’s unique aesthetic was celebrated.
What is something you learned about content, travel, or yourself on this trip?
I was reminded how powerful it is to step outside your comfort zone and open yourself up to new relationships. I travel so much that maintaining close female friendships can be challenging, so finding genuine connection with women on the same wavelength meant everything to me.

How do you balance staying present while still capturing content?
I’m all about balance. I knock out my content in the morning, then fully unplug—preferably poolside with a skinny margarita in hand.
What is your go-to tip for creators who want to elevate their content while traveling?
Stop trying so hard. Capture organic moments, and always shoot at sunrise or golden hour—it changes everything.
If you had to describe this Puerto Vallarta experience in one sentence, what would it be?
Take me back.

What was your most unforgettable location from the trip?
Zip-lining with a panoramic view of all of Puerto Vallarta. The views were unreal, and the adrenaline made it even more unforgettable.
How does this experience compare to other influencer trips you’ve been on?
This group was iconic. Can every Modeliste trip be with the same squad? Same time next year, please.
What’s next for you — any exciting projects, goals, or destinations coming up?
I’m releasing a new single next month and traveling back and forth to Ecuador as I finish my reign as Miss Universe Ecuador, continuing to make a difference in my country. I also have some exciting hosting opportunities coming up this year—stay tuned.
