Dining at Le Voyage by Daniel Boulud, Michelin starred, NY Restaurateur Intimate and luxurious, first-class dining with a salute to French gourmet artistry framed for a nuanced international palate is truly extraordinary. The attention to detail in each preparation and presentation partnered with personalized service creates a culinary odyssey and beautiful dining experience. The passionate descriptions of each course, appetizers, mains, sides, desserts by our delightful server, Jose, mesmerized us with each ingredient and special presentations. Our sommelier, Fabrizio, helped us make ideal wine pairings. Meeting the young Chef de Cuisine, Inigo, whose Basque origins lend a true international uniqueness to the menu. Alaskan King Crab Salad and tantalizing teasers, both the succulent lamb and beef main courses were distinctive, our desserts were works of art, and the madeleines were an unexpected treat.
This most memorable dining experience was set in an inspired sophisticated aesthetic designed with French elements creating an intimate serene atmosphere.

**Excursion Day 2
Just outside Marseille, we are welcomed into a purely French confluence of Wine and Art, the beauty of a picturesque walk-through sculpture gardens in harmony with pristine vineyards at the peak of harvest. The vision of artist/owner/winemaker, Phillippe Austry, creates a magical ensemble of creativity, uniquely artful, modern and whimsical in sculpture, along with premier Côtes de Provence wine making all to enhance the appreciation of the wines and the delights of spotting art throughout the property. From Crusaders to Cruisers – the historic 13th Century Templar Inn surprises with 21st Century wine technology, presenting a lovely tasting experience highlighting the best of Peyrassol Vineyards featuring its signature La Croix Rose.
**Excursion Day 3
Discovery of Old Nice and Tour of Chateau de Cremat and Winery. Côte d’Azur
Navigating French gardens, one of the oldest vineyards in France, a profusion of art, classical sculptures, and architecture, and the intricacies of Bellet wines, the small appellations of reds, summer whites and rose’ wine derived from the historic hills of Provence with our guide, Brigette, was informative and a delightful insight into the castle and local French wines. The Chateau de Cremat, its familiar insignia immortalized by Coco Chanel, famed frequent resident, remains a home to her unique selected furnishings, including pieces from her primary residence at the Paris Ritz Hotel. The tour linked the past, present and future of winemaking, topped with a succession of wine tastings. A truly wonderful getaway.
**Evenings of Idyllic venues – Eden, The Club, Grand Plaza… Beguiling Bling, Beauty, and World Class Entertainment, Live Theater, Performances, Dancing
Each evening an inspired selection of entertaining performances, live music, comedy and drama, even a stunning aerialist performance under the stars, offered choices we enjoyed with enthusiasm.
**Day 5 Excursion
Tuscan Farmhouse Experience
Beyond the familiar excursions to Florence and Pisa, or Cinque Terre, this opportunity captures an authentic timeless Tuscan family farm experience. The youngest daughter of the multi- generational family at the reins of the horse-drawn wagon delivers guests to the picturesque stone farmhouse and handcrafted dining area addition. We pass through groves of fruit trees, view fields and terraced vineyards spread across the valley and hills. Italian hospitality extends to our group with a colorful outdoor family style
lunch served on long plank tables, with freshly baked bread, a sampling of local wines, pastas and signature marinara and meat sauces, fresh veggies and a traditional dessert made from a recipe passed on for generations. The family warmth and pride and idyllic setting belies the hard work of farming in Tuscany, our hosts generously sharing their history and the fruits of their labor in their family store. A beautiful experience.
**Day 6 Excursion
Ajac-cio, Corsica, Birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte
A historical treasure and beautiful landscape, a destination off the beaten path making it a particularly interesting exploration. Beautiful vistas, quaint and charming architecture.
**Day 7 Excursion
Incomparable Italy – Rome, The Pope’s Summer Palace and Vatican, the Art of St. Peter’s Basilica and the Sistine Chapel
The opportunity to return to these sites for a guided tour with a knowledgeable Vatican and art historian was an enlightening and informative experience. Areas of restored art and recently reopened sculpture displays made it worthwhile, so many stories and anecdotes added depth to the art and artists whose works overwhelm every visit. Spa Journey extraordinaire – The Spa on Celebrity BEYOND is a sanctuary of luxury and relaxation, where massage and body treatments refresh and restore, therapies energize and revitalize guests with indulgent choices for peaceful individual and couples massage, Hammam Turkish bath, SEA Thermal Suite, Salt Room, Crystalarium energy healing, Rainfall Water therapy, sauna, steam showers, heated loungers. The professional team of massage therapists and aestheticians made this an exceptional spa experience.
Excursion Day 8
The Isle of Capri and the town of Positano, treasure of the Amalfi coast
An island of romance, Capri boasts dramatic cliff sides and shores, protective harbors, a haven for luxurious yachts, colorful fishing boats and busy ferries, chic opulence, and a latitude particularly hospitable to citrus. Lemons seem to dominate the island, captivating every aspect of island life in art, headliners in tourist shops, souvenirs, bakeries, gelato stands. The fragrance permeates the air, the soaps, lotions and libations bottled and served in the famed limoncello liqueur and lemon flavoring everywhere. The Amalfi coast is famed for its dramatic cliffs traversed by narrow winding roads leading to beautiful picturesque towns including the popular seaside wonder, Positano, pastel houses clinging to the cliffs, terraces of lemon and olive trees, fantastic food, fine cuisine, pizza, pasta, and perfect tourist shopping. Transported to the beautiful isle of Capri and Positano was paradise. Martini Bar at Grand Plaza – a hub of activity where conviviality abounds, craft cocktails are shaken, stirred, and blended with an entertaining flair. Musicians and dazzling performers deliver an array of creative enjoyment each night. Definitely the place to gather!
