How did SKINNYDIPPERS evolve into the brand it is today? Tell us about the journey.
Miraclesuit has been changing women’s lives for over 25 years by helping them look and feel 10 lbs lighter in 10 seconds. The goal has always been to help women feel beautiful and confident. We were often asked to create a line specifically targeted towards the younger curvy consumer. Body image and confidence is at the forefront of our messaging with Miraclesuit and now with SKINNYDIPPERS. We understand that beauty comes in every shape and size so the conception for SKINNYDIPPERS was to create suits that provide smoothing, shaping support for comfort and confidence. With flattering silhouettes and beautifully spirited colors & prints, the collection represents a true celebration of today’s young woman, showcasing her curves and confidence.
What makes the line so unique in the swimwear industry?
SKINNYDIPPERS provides all over light shaping, control and support and is targeted to the 18-40 age range. There is no other line that does this in the marketplace.
What inspired the creation of your latest collection?
Happiness. Celebration of color, our inspiration is the joy of the journey whether its to the local beach or on the road. The line addresses feminine florals, lush tropics, playful retro prints as well as modern prismatics.

What do you see as the hottest swimwear trends for this season?
It’s so fluid and always changing. SKINNYDIPPERS always has options on the go with lots of reversible options, drawstrings for adjustability and customized coverage which is big. Plunging necklines, high cut leg lines and high waisted bikini bottoms are seen across the industry and in this collection. Styling that emphasizes the hourglass is a hot point.
