How did you begin your career?
I began my career in 2019 when I was going to school and living in Honolulu, HI. I started to take photos on the beach and found my self-confidence, which later pushed me to pursue modeling and social media more seriously. I later got scouted online and signed to my first modeling agency in SF, when I later graduated and moved back home to California. My career didn’t start getting momentum until I moved to LA in 2020 in the middle of a pandemic, where I hit the ground running. That is the year I had tried out for the 3rd time in a row for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, where I finally got it and got to shoot in the 2021 SI magazine. Been working hard and leveling up ever since!

How do you hope to inspire people through your social media platform? What can your followers expect to see when visiting your social media page(s)?
I hope to inspire people to love themselves and become delusionally confident in their abilities to make their dreams come true. My followers can expect to see self-love messages, inspiration to chase their dreams, hopes for themselves and their own futures, and overall just good energy and positivity on my social media pages!

What do you predict will be the biggest fashion trends this spring?
I believe the biggest fashion trends we will see this spring are more high waisted jeans, maxi skirts and dresses, and bigger-lens sunglasses!

What was your favorite part about your stay at Casa Velas?
The staff was my favorite part! Their hospitality was next level and made us all feel at home! I miss it and the people there already!

Do you have any upcoming travel plans? If so, where?
I just spent the last month traveling a lot, so I’m going to take some time to get settled into my new apartment here in LA. Although, the next trip I’m taking will probably be to New York for NYFW in February!

Are you an introvert or an extrovert?
Extrovert for sure!

What’s your go-to airport look? Essentials to pack in a carry on?
I love the extra airport look haha! 🙂 Think mob wife era, because that’s the energy I channel in my looks at the airport, lol! The essentials I pack in my carry-on are my laptop, chargers, the Alix Earle amazon light, a good lip gloss, hand sanitizer, and my hair tools!

What’s a typical work week like for you? Any advice you have for staying productive throughout the week?

Typical work week for me is definitely inconsistent, and changes by the day! Some days I’m doing admin on my computer and mainly emails, then other days I’m on set shooting with a brand for a modeling campaign, while other days I’m filming and editing social media content, but mainly always working 10-12 hour days. Advice for staying productive throughout the week is to follow a google calendar, and follow time-blocking. Work hard but always play harder!

What’s your current skincare routine? Any products you’d recommend for our Modeliste readers?

I love all Tatcha skincare! It’s my go-to skincare routine right now, and I swear by their dewy skin cream.

What’s something your followers would be surprised to know about you?

My followers would be surprised to know that I’m actually funny (so I think haha) and have a good sense of humor! I never really do humor-style content, but I definitely want to start doing some funny videos and show my personality more.

Where do you gain inspiration for content? Any tips & tricks you’d like to share for those inspiring to have a career like your own?

I gain inspiration throughout my daily life experiences honestly, and taking some down time to come up with those creative ideas that I film. I also love to allocate 30 minutes-1 hour a day to just scrolling social media and gaining inspiration from other creators online.

What makes you different from other content creators?

I believe I’m super authentic, and never change my content for anyone or any specific audience. I make content that’s authentic and true to who I am, which I’m proud of! I also love to bring my audience on this journey with me, and show them all the steps to my success/failure/and dreams.
