What inspired you to become an influencer and what is now your favorite part of being one now?
Becoming an influencer was in no way a goal of mine at first, but when I realized that people were not only listening but benefiting from me sharing my personal interests and experiences, I realized I wanted to use my voice to the best of my ability. I love having a community of people who i’ve never met in real life that can relate to me and I them. It’s a really special bond.
How would you describe your stay at the Four Seasons Serengeti lodge?
The resort was beautiful and the staff were some of the nicest people i’ve ever met. It felt like such a sanctuary and an amazing escape from LA.
What were you looking forward to most when coming onto this trip?
Being able to meet new friends and see a new part of the world while documenting it with Modeliste!
What was your favorite part about the trip?
Being able to see animals in their natural habitat was my favorite part of the trip. It was so beautiful being in an environment where you’re living in the animals world, rather than the other way around.
What is something you always travel with?
Elizabeth Ardens Eight Hour cream. I use it on my face & lips & it keeps my skin really moisturized since my skin always would get really dry while traveling before. That and a huge water bottle. Gotta stay hydrated.
Do you have a beauty ritual?
Not necessarily, I listen to my skin on what it needs. It sounds ridiculous but I believe your skin tells you what it needs most. My skin regime is really no different to the next persons, I just believe in taking good care of your mind and body.
What is your favorite fashion trend at the moment?
Making sweats chic. I always aim for comfort and I never think beauty should be painful so seeing sweats paired with blazers make me so happy.
How do you stay up to date with beauty, fashion brands, and trends?
I never aim to stay up to date with anything that’s fashion or beauty based. I do always ask all my friends what skin products they’re using out of pure curiosity because I like trying new things out but I think once you find something that works for you, it’s good to stick with it until you find something else that’s better!
What is your favorite accessory to wear daily?
My body jewelry from Jacquie Aiche. They’re my favorite pieces and her jewelry is so well made that I rarely ever take it off & it’s still in perfect condition.
Where do you wish to travel next?
Iceland and Italy are next up on my list. I’m dying to go to both places so i’m hoping I get the opportunity to visit at least one of those places this year.
What advice would you give to someone who is going to Africa for their first time?
To expect to have the best time of your life! It’s an amazing place to reset and embrace a different culture. I’m looking forward to hopefully going back soon!
What inspired you to work with Modeliste Magazine?
I was excited to work with Modeliste since I had seen their work before but never collaborated with them personally. I was so happy they wanted to work with me and this trip was one of the best trips I’ve ever been on so I am so thankful to have a relationship with them now!
