As Spring has officially sprung, the season always reminds me of renewal. With it brings an energy of fresh beginnings, life blossoming, and alluring beauty all around us. It is my hope that we give our readers – as well as our contributors – the opportunity to consider different notions of beauty, whether in fashion, writing, photography or art. Our cover star this month, Kelsey Merritt is a legendary beauty who has also broken free of the confines of a conventional modeling career, stepping away from the relentless schedule of catwalk shows, discovering the freedom to do what she most enjoys.
